Thud, Thud, Thud…
In the orchard on the Cherry Tree,
A Blackbird, Thrush and Mr. Finch,
Are chattering in brightest glee.
Thud, Thud… Thud.
The Blackbird chirps, the Thrush joins in,
And Finch keeps swaying at his bough,
The sun is shining bright, yet still,
The wind brings noticeable chill.
Thudthud, Thud…
The Thrush just adressed Mr. Finch,
But no response, so most displeased,
It hops to Finch and with his beak,
It starts to pinch right at the cheek.
Thud, Pinch, Thud…
The Blackbird chirps, the Thrush does pinch,
And good ol’ Mr. Finch, quite dull,
Keeps hanging on his rope and sways
And thuds against the mighty bole…
